What is Bluebird Documentation
In short, Bluebird Documentation (BBD) is a documentation platform.
What is a documentation platform? It's a place where you can create, manage and share documents; a valuable bookkeeping tool for individuals and teams. Documentation platforms like BBD, Confluence, and many others aren't just for technical individuals. Whatever you're occupied with, whether your profession, school, or even just your own hobbies & personal projects, there's always a use for documentation.
Why try out BBD?
Here are just a few reasons that set us apart from others.
- All functionality is free. There are no pay-walls, limited features, etc for our users. The only payment option is if you would like to become a subscriber. Subscribing costs $2.89 a month, and it's really just a way to give back to us. As a way to show our appreciation to financial contributions, subscribers get access to visual enhancements: workspace/document themes, and different notebook paper styles.
- We offer unique features that other documentation platforms don't have. This currently mainly includes our My Notebook feature, and our Walkthrough feature. My Notebook is a virtual notebook perfect for anyone with touchscreen devices (stylus is a plus), and Walkthroughs are a great tool for onboarding new team members, or creating public guides for anyone to see.
- BBD offers a unique combination of documentation and community. Users can not only share/publish public documentation, but users can also promote their own platforms on every document. Every document provides space to share your own social media presence, or your own custom links.
- Teams can create Workspaces to establish a collaboration base with team members. Workspaces are complete with user roles (each with unique permissions), dashboards, and configurations.
What can I do without an account?
Unfortunately, not creating an account will lock most of our features, but there are still some things you can do without an account.
Users without an account can try out My Notebook, however, important functionality like palm detection and notebook configuration are not accessible until you create an account. Users without an account can view public documents. This is how you're probably viewing this document, and this is what will let you share your public documents with anyone!
