Minimalist Web Design

Minimal designs for web apps are quite popular recently. They're actually my own personal favorite as well. I myself am pretty tired of cluttered websites packed with information I rarely look at.

I actually tried to take a minimalist approach when designing this website and Bluebird Teaching. You'll most likely notice that especially the two landing pages look very similar. Don't like it? Well take whatever you do like from this documentation, and apply it your own way to make the website that is beautiful to you.

Will what we go over in this space be exactly like what others might define as minimalism web designs? Most likely not. While I do aim to make websites clutter free, and only put what is essential, it's a bit more than that to me. This is about making the user feel the minimalism. The pages to this space will go over a lot of different components to this minimalism, but the key to me really is getting the point across that your website is aesthetically simple; in a super slick, modern, and almost sexy way.

Why are minimalist web designs so popular now? My theory is simply because people are getting tired of cluttered, content heavy, and color intensive websites. If you agree, then let's explore this topic together!
