Release 1.2
This page contains public information on Release 1.2 for Bluebird Task Management.
This release is going to include an exciting new feature for BBTM. Other than the general enhancements and bugfixes, we're going to make it possible to export tasks. Users will be able to export tasks of a specific label into a markdown file (possibly other file types as well).
A lot of users might be using various AI tools out there for tasks they work with. This opens the door to really accelerate your workflow as you can directly feed tasks into your favorite AI agent. Plan your ideas and brainstorm in BBD, break up and manage your tasks in BBTM, and feed your tasks into your favorite AI agent to achieve them.

Update: BBTM Mobile Application
This may not fall within this release; just depends on how long testing takes, but we are very excited to announce that we are launching a phone application for Bluebird Task Management!
Since these are separate applications, there might be some differences between capabilities on the BBTM website and mobile application (likely only for a short time). This is because deploying to production for our website is very fast/easy, but creating a new version, and deploying that, can take some time. For the most up to date features, please use the website when possible. However, these dependencies are likely to occur only for a couple of hours before the mobile application catches up.
Update on BBTM Mobile Application: We've just completed closed testing in this release, and we've applied for production on the Google Play Store, so we're hoping the application will be live in about 7 days or less.
General Enhancements
Now that the release is complete, listed below is everything that went in.
- Users can now export tasks. Users can export specific tasks, all tasks in a column, or all tasks of a specific label. Users can also attach documentation. As of this release, everything will be exported as a markdown file.
- Users can archive tasks. User can put tasks into an archive library; rather than just deleting tasks that they might want to come back to at a later point for whatever reason.
- Added a light blue theme option.
- If a user is trying to view a public board, but they are given the actual board URL, it'll help users route to the public board URL.
- Users can comment on tasks. Permissions for this can be managed for public boards.
- Users can hide specific columns in public boards.
