Release 2.7 makes documents easier to share, adds new organization and formatting tools to the editor, and includes several fixes along with an improvement to account security.

You can now share Team Workspace documents with people outside the workspace, and documents shared with people who don't have an account can be viewed without signing up. Spaces can show a table of contents, and the editor adds Heading 3 and Heading 4, more right-click options, and a warning before you lose unsaved changes.

What shipped in Release 2.7

Now that 2.7 is out, here is everything that went into the release.

Sharing & Access

Documents are now easier to share, both inside and outside of Team Workspaces.

1. Share Team Workspace documents outside the workspace: when adding emails to a Team Workspace document, you can now also share it with people who aren't members of the workspace, alongside the existing sharing options.
2. View shared documents without an account: people you share a personal document with can now open and view it without needing to create a Bluebird Documentation account first.

Editor Improvements

The editor picks up a few new tools, plus a safety net for unsaved work.

1. New heading levels: the editor toolbar now supports Heading 3 and Heading 4, in addition to the existing heading options.
2. More right-click options: the right-click menu now includes utility actions like copy and paste wherever they're useful.
3. Warned before losing unsaved changes: if you try to navigate away, close the tab, or close the browser while editing a document, you'll now get a warning first.

Space Organization

1. Table of contents for spaces: spaces can now show a table of contents near the top, below any downloadable content, making it easier to find your way around larger spaces.

Bug Fixes

1. Fixed wide tables extending past the right edge of the content area when viewing a document. This only affected the reading view, not editing.
2. Fixed the duplicate title and description suggestions rapidly changing as you type, which made them hard to read.

Account Security

1. Added protections to the registration page to cut down on bot-created accounts that were never verified.
