Release 1.1
This page contains public notes and planning on release 1.1 for Bluebird Task Management.
Now that we've gotten the initial product out, it's time to add some features and tools to really smooth out your task management experience.
We're not planning anything incredibly big for BBTM this release, but the general enhancements we aim to add should greatly boost user experience. Amongst other things, these changes include the ability for users to publicly share boards, add team members to a board, and link boards with BBD Team Workspaces.
General Enhancements
- Add a custom right click menu like we do with BBD. Users will be able to turn this feature on or off any time they like.
- The ability to link/reference a task in a document by the board task ID.
- Better board management; with the ability to add users to a board with set permissions. This also includes task assignment to particular users of a board.
- Improved label utilization.
- Delete tasks by a specific label.
- Filter/sort items on a board by label.
- Hide items on a board by label.
- The ability to make a board public. This will also include settings to manage this. Like if a user wants to hide certain tasks with a certain label on a public board. Ideally, the user will also be able to manage what public viewers can do on this board.
- Tie a Bluebird Task Management board to a Bluebird Documentation Team Workspace.
- Permissions will be shared between them.
- Permissions managed from the Team Workspace settings page.
